I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Mount Holyoke College and affiliated graduate faculty in the Department of Philosophy at UMass Amherst.
My research focuses on questions at the intersection of metaphysics and the philosophy of physics. I am also interested in topics in philosophy of language, epistemology, philosophy of religion, and applied ethics. Before coming to Mount Holyoke, I spent four years as an assistant professor at Brown University, where I helped found the SIPP@Brown summer program. My PhD is from MIT, and my undergraduate degree (in philosophy and physics) is from Cornell. I spend pretty much all of my free time outside skiing, running, mountain biking, and adventuring with these little monsters. Here's my CV. |
